Free Continuing Education Units, WebinarsLearn the latest techniques to recruit families for children in foster care. NAA’s Learn with NAA Webinar Series is led by your peers and covers topics relevant to adoption recruiters, trainers, and support workers. NAA offers six (6) Continuing Education Units (CEUs) approved by the National Association of Social Workers (NASW).
Biennial National ConferenceThe NAA conference is an intimate gathering providing rare access to others in the adoption recruitment, retention, and support field. Child Welfare Leadership SeriesOur Child Welfare Leadership Series is offered during NAA’s national conference and is also available as a webinar. Peer-to-Peer PublicationNAA members face the challenge of finding permanent homes for teenagers, sibling groups, and children with complex medical needs. Member of the Month, NAA’s monthly peer publication, features interviews with members who have implemented effective recruitment or retention strategies. Standards in PracticeAs the country’s only national association of adoption exchanges, NAA’s Standards in Practice is a guiding framework established by our Board of Directors for our member community. Members are expected to follow these standards to uphold ethical and effective practices in adoption.
