We are thrilled that you will be attending our 2026 National Conference on April 27 and 28, 2026. Before you join us in Boston, MA, we wanted to share some helpful tips to make your conference delightful, fun, and informative!

Where is the conference taking place?

Hyatt Regency Boston, located at:

1 Ave de Lafayette, Boston, MA 02111

Our conference begins on the morning of April 27, 2026, and concludes on the afternoon of April 28, 2026.

Where can I make a hotel reservation?

The hotel is now accepting reservations online. Please call Hyatt Regency Boston directly if you experience difficulties at (402) 592 - 6444. Our room block code is NAA1

Are airport shuttles available to the Hyatt Regency Boston from the airport?

Logan International Airport (BOS) is conveniently located just 4.6 miles away.

The hotel does not offer shuttle buses.

Boston offers a variety of transportation options for getting to Logan, ensuring a smooth journey:

  • Subway: The Silver Line of Boston's subway system provides direct access to all terminals from South Station.
  • Logan Express Bus: This inexpensive service connects Back Bay's Copley Square and the Hynes Convention Center to all terminals.
  • Massport Shuttle: (LINK) A complimentary shuttle bus service operates between airline terminals and the Airport Station on the MBTA Blue Line.

Taxis and Rideshares:  Taxis and rideshares are readily available for door-to-door service. Estimated current fares to follow.

Is there public transportation?

The Hyatt Regency Boston is located just .4 miles from the South Station Amtrak Train service. 

 

Does the hotel have valet parking?

Valet parking is available for hotel guests. It is located in the garage near the front entrance and includes privileges. The current rate is $60 per 3-24 hours. 

The hotel also offers Self- Parking: Hourly public parking is available in the public garage adjacent to the hotel. Vehicles over 6’4” or oversized vans and buses cannot use our garages. The current rates are $39.99 for 2-12 hours and $41 for overnight parking.

 

What is the cost to stay at the Hyatt Regency Boston?

NAA has secured a housing block at the Hyatt Regency Boston to accommodate registered attendees at a discounted rate. A link to reserve your accommodation will be provided later this Fall when our Conference Registration opens.

Please note that rates are for single or double occupancy in a standard room.

$319.00 per night for single/double occupancy

All rooms are subject to applicable state, local and occupancy taxes (currently 16.45%) in effect at time of check-out.

 

Is there a discounted hotel rate?

Please reserve your room by April 3, 2026 in order to take advantage of the discounted rate listed above. Any additional blocked rooms will be released after the above date and later registrations will be charged at the regular hotel rate.

 

What if I want to arrive early or stay an extra night?

Our discounted group rate is extended 3 days pre/ post event date, based on standard guestroom availability.

 

Is the hotel accessible?

Yes, all public areas are fully accessible including dining and meeting space, fitness center, and parking as well as guestrooms with adaptable devices on request. Assistive listening devices for meetings provided upon request- inquire at info@adoptnaa.org and request on your registration form.

 

What are the conference hours?

The 2026 National Conference program hours begin on Monday, April 27, 2026, at 8:30 am EDT with the first session and end with the Welcome Reception at 4 or 5:00 pm EDT. On Tuesday, April 28, 2026, the conference will begin at 7:30 am EST with breakfast and end by 4:00pm EDT

 

How many units of continuing education will I receive by attending the National Conference?

This program is currently pending Approval by the National Association of Social Workers for continuing education contact hours.

 

I am a sponsor. When can I set-up my exhibit table during the Conference?

Exhibits at the National Adoption Conference will be open throughout the day on Monday, April 27, 2026, at 8:30am – Tuesday, April 28, 2026, at 2:30 pm.

Exhibitors may set up displays between 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm Sunday, April 26, 2026, or 7:00 am - 8:00 am on April 27, 2026. Exhibitors will again be located inside our General Session/ Meal space room . NAA’s 2026 Exhibitor/ Sponsor Prospectus will be available soon. If you are interested in becoming a sponsor, please contact our CEO,  Kamilah Bunn .



I am an exhibitor. Do I need to remain at my exhibit table throughout the Conference?

No, exhibitors will not be required to staff their table throughout the conference. The Exhibit tables will be located inside our General Session and Meal room. When we have sessions or meals in the Ballroom, it is important for exhibitors to be present at the table at least before and after for networking.



I need to ship my exhibit and other things to do the meeting. Where can I ship it to?

Packages can be sent (3) days prior to the start date of the event.  Please label all boxes as follows to ensure prompt delivery:

  • NAA has negotiated complimentary box handling fees for up to (5) boxes per exhibit, excluding pallets.
  • Handling fees for boxes (more than 5 per exhibitor) are as follows: $10 per box each way (in and out); Free storage for up to 3 days; $10 per day storage fee for more than 3 days
  • Boxes must be repackaged by the Exhibitor with a shipping label in order to be sent back out by Hotel.
  • Handling fees for pallets are as follows: $250 per pallet each way (in and out); Free storage for up to 3 days; $250 pallet storage fee for more than 3 business days
  • Pallets must be repalletized by the Exhibitor with a shipping label in order to be sent back out by Hotel.

 

How do I get credits for the sessions I attend?

Please sign in and sign out after each session to receive NASW credits. If you forget to sign out, the sign in/out sheets will also be made available at the NAA table.

 

Where are the sessions being held?

All NAA conference sessions will be held on the 4th Floor Ballroom and meeting space of the Hyatt Regency Boston. 

 

What sessions are being presented?

NAA is still curating the Session content that meets the needs of our members, and we are looking for your help!. If you are aware of Speakers that you believe would provide valuable training to our membership, please reach out to us! info@adoptnaa.org. We are looking for presenters that can speak around the following themes   or any new initiatives or programs that would be of interest and value.

  • Effective Permanency Practices with Kin
  • Effective Permanency Practices for partnering with Youth with Complex Needs
  • Effective Post-Permanency Practices for Birth, Foster and Adoptive Families and Adoptees
  • Emerging Leaders Best Practices

 

Our Program Agenda will be posted later this Fall.


If I am speaking at the conference, can I order more A/V equipment?

NAA is providing a projector, projector hookups, a microphone and screen for your workshop if requested. Please contact info@adoptnaa.org  for more information.


Will breakfast or lunch be provided?

Continental breakfast will be served on both Monday, April 27 and Tuesday, April 28 from 7:30am - 8:30am in the Foyer of the Ballroom- 4th Floor.
Lunch will be served at the Awards Luncheon on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, in the Ballroom 4th Floor, exact time to be advise.
Our Membership Reception with Hors d'oeuvres and drinks will be served on Monday, April 27, 2026, at the end of sessions also, in the Ballroom- 4th Floor.


I have specific dietary needs. Who should I contact?

For the Awards luncheon, please let us know your specific dietary needs when you register for the meeting. Otherwise, send us an email at info@adoptnaa.org .


Is there free internet?

The hotel offers complimentary basic Wi-Fi in the guest rooms. NAA is currently negotiating Wi-Fi for the meeting space.


What should I do if I lose my badge?

Please visit the NAA table at the conference for assistance with receiving a new badge.
