The National Center for Enhanced Post-Adoption Support provides technical assistance and comprehensive resource library to support states, tribal nations and territories to develop, implement and sustain comprehensively culturally responsive, and accessible post-permanency services for families that have achieved permanency through adoption or guardianship. The services provided are free of charge. The Post-Adoption Center will partner with the Center for Workforce Equity and Leadership, the National Center for Adoption Competent Mental Health Services, and the National Center for Diligent Recruitment to offer technical assistance to states, tribal nations and territories. Child welfare professionals have access to articles, webinars, tools and podcasts through the Post-Adoption Center’s resource library as a hub for information on post-permanency programs and services. Peer group discussions are offered to discuss a topics related to post-permanency. Through these groups, professionals can share lessons learned, ask questions and brainstorm challenges together.
