Over 500 organizations have signed a letter to Congressional leadership in support of this effort.

Minnesota Northland Foundation awards 46 grants for $571,635 to benefit communities in the area, including an award to Family Rise Together that will help support a new program connecting Black, Indigenous, and other Youth of Color in the foster care system with family members who help care for them.

Tennessee's Department of Children's Services has extended the deadline for former foster youth to apply for federal stimulus funds to assist with living expenses. The department has $7.4 million available for youth who were in foster care at the age of 14 or older and are currently between 18-26 years of age. 2,500 applications have already been received and will be accepted while funds last.
