California State Attorney General Xavier Becerra has announced that Oklahoma will be added to the restricted states for state-funded and sponsored travel under Assembly Bill 1887. This bill bans state-funded travel to states that discriminate against LGBT people.

Kansas Department for Children and Families is removing a restriction banning contractors from opposing the agency. Though contractors are excited about these new contracts a concern being raised is that opposition and differing opinions won't be discussed openly. 

National - Congress is looking to change medicaid to extend coverage for foster youth aging out of the child welfare system. This proposal will increase access to medicaid coverage up to age 26 and increase awareness of coverage options.
