| I began working in the Child Welfare field 2013. I began my career by working in residential facilities with teen girls and then as an Adoption Resource Consultant. I then transitioned to working in adoption as an International and Domestic Adoption Specialist before switching over to a State of Michigan Adoption, Licensing, and Foster Care Specialist. I spent time as the Recruitment and Event Coordinator before transitioning into a role as an Adoption, Foster Care, and a Licensing Program Manager. In 2020, I became a child welfare trainer specializing in Adoption for the State of Michigan and began doing concurrent work in groups. I have a Bachelor and Master’s in Psychology from the University of Phoenix, and a Post Master’s Certification in Teaching Psychology. I am a recent 2021 graduate of the MPLD Fellowship. |
