Effective Photolisting: Best Practices for Developing Strength-Based Narratives presents guidance from AdoptUSKids on how to write high-quality narratives for photolistings and other public recruitment efforts. It will also address how state and local agencies can use AdoptUSKids to enhance their photolisting efforts. The session provides strategies for ensuring narratives highlight a child’s individual strengths while protecting privacy and dignity, and outlines what to include in public narratives and how to share more information through private narratives.

Presenters: Mary Boo, AdoptUSKids & Claudette Carter Henderson, Virginia Department of Social Services
